(no) MOVIE MONDAY - Ella Enchanted
You might be wondering what's the difference between Ella Enchanted the book, and the movie? Or you might be thinking, “If I've watched the movie, surely I don't need to read the book, right”? If you thought that, well then you'd be wrong. The movie and the book are VERY different. The book being the original, had all the original ideas. Therefore you should definitely read the book. How about we start at the beginning: When Ellas was born and cursed. In the book Ella and her family lived in a manor or, in other words, a small castle. Yet in the movie, they have been downsized to a normal thatched house. Another thing, Ella was given an order after she was given her “gift of obedience” from (and I quote) “That fool of a fairy Lucinda”. In the book the order was to ‘stop crying’.
